Children are the foundation of Aberfoyle Hub Community children’s centre. We strive to create an environment that empowers and inspires our learners to feel valued and respected to confidently and holistically learn and explore through play based experiences.
We provide a learning curriculum in partnership with children, educators, families and the wider community to enhance children’s learning by both child led and adult guided, in connection with Early Years Learning Framework.
Through acknowledgement, appreciation and acceptance, diversity is embraced and celebrated throughout the service
Our Core Values
Aberfoyle Hub Community Children’s Centre is a community based, not-for-profit organisation that provides quality care for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years of age. Surrounded by a peaceful natural environment with beautiful shady trees and grassed areas, the children and staff enjoy wonderful wildlife that occasionally visit from nearby bush land including koalas, lizards and a multitude of bird life, with ducks and frogs inhabiting the surrounding creek and ovals.
Since 1988 we have had a proud tradition of providing care and education to the local community. We provide a non-biased and multicultural approach to child care; we respect each child and their family’s needs with an emphasis on working together as a team.

My daughter has attended the AHCCC for nearly 2.5 years. In that time she has been given a nurturing, creative, supportive and educational environment. The attention to child development and sense of ‘family’ at the center has encouraged her independence, general learning skills and a wonderful sense of belonging at the center. Thank you ladies!
It has been fabulous watching my eldest son (who has now made a smooth transition into school), develop social skills and learn through play during his time at Aberfoyle Hub Community Children’s Centre; and now when we drop my youngest son off he doesn’t want to leave!! My toddler also enjoys his interactions at ‘care’ and is full of stories about his fun filled day when we pick him up.
I have had two children in this centre through the three different rooms. I have loved it, as have the children.
Between my two kids, we have been part of the AHCCC family for 6 years now. Staff are friendly, caring, accommodating and very highly trained and experienced. We love everyone here, from the carers, to the admin and kitchen staff. We love the way they handle the ‘don’t want to say goodbye’ tears, and the daily updates at pickup time. And with so much opportunity to play in ‘real’ nature, how could the kids not love it here?!
I’ve had one child (at least) at the centre for the past 7 years, I’ve almost finished with both kids now almost at school. I’m going to miss all the happy and friendly faces when I walk in every morning! Such great staff.
Harrison loves his time at AHCCC, the staff are great and there is plenty of fun activities for him to learn and do.
My daughter enjoys every visit to this centre. The staff are all lovely and do a wonderful job.
The staff and educators always make us feel welcome and our children are excited to attend. Sandi has always been extremely helpful with any changes to our regular bookings.
Aberfoyle Hub Community Children’s Centre is an amazing childcare that I highly recommend. Every staff member has been absolutely amazing to us and our son. My son has been attending AHCCC since he was 8 months old. He is now almost 5 and in the time he has been here he has made great friends and been treated with tender loving hands. The staff are so warm and approachable. We love it and will be sad when we go.

This centre has given our son the opportunity and the skills to become a strong, social, independent little man.
