Aberfoyle Hub Community Children’s Centre
Aberfoyle Hub Community Children’s Centre is a community based, not-for-profit organisation that provides quality care for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years of age. Surrounded by a peaceful natural environment with beautiful shady trees and grassed areas, the children and staff enjoy wonderful wildlife that occasionally visit from nearby bush land including koalas, lizards and a multitude of bird life, with ducks and frogs inhabiting the surrounding creek and ovals.
Since 1988 we have had a proud tradition of providing care and education to the local community. We provide a non-biased and multicultural approach to child care; we respect each child and their family’s needs with an emphasis on working together as a team.
AHCCC is licensed for 70 long day care places for children 0-6 years. To accommodate for the diverse needs of our community, AHCCC have approximately 20 staff employed to provide quality care and excellence in our high-quality accredited service. We offer half day and ad-hoc care and provide discount for full-time enrolments.
AHCCC has a qualified cook who prepares meals for the children at the centre, within guidelines of nutritionists and the world health organisation. We can support the dietary needs of all children, including those with allergies, and special dietary requirements. Our centre is nut-aware and egg-aware.
As we are a Community Children’s Service, we are governed by a Management Committee which consists of families, staff and local community members. The Director is the manager of the services and oversees the day to day running of service operations.
Our practices are based on our Core Values of Care, Trust, Equity, Respect and Quality.
