CRITERIA
The childcare subsidy is a government payment sent to your childcare provider through Centrelink.
To be eligible for the Childcare subsidy you must meet certain criteria, such as
care for a child aged 13 or younger and not attending secondary school, unless an exemption applies
use an approved child care service
responsible for paying the child care fees
meet residency and immunisation requirements
In order to claim for childcare subsidy you must have a mygov login.
If you do not have one
Once you have your mygov account set up, you will need to navigate to Centrelink and click on the menu, from there click on the payments and claims, then claims, then start a claim, scroll down to families, click on get started and then follow the prompts.
